Exploring the study of diction and language for singers, including IPA (the international phonetic alphabet), English diction, Italian, French, and German.

This course has these components:
- Weekly classes where concepts of language use, and pronunciation are introduced and practiced.
- Development of Dictionary translation skills (not google translate!)
- A focus on vocabulary building
- Development of language skills in conjunction with performance and presentation of songs

Assessments overall are regarding the diction, and comprehension of language texts, songs, arias and recitatives for the purpose of performance singing. Presentation, and communication skills are also considered in assessments.
